Our History
Rolling Hills Volunteer Fire Department was established in 2007, under premises of serving the Rolling Hills Community. We began with an engine and a booster. We have since replaced our original engine with a newer more reliable one, added a tender (tanker), a rescue truck
purchased from Monaville Volunteer Fire Department and a new booster truck funded largely in part with funds provided by a grant from the Texas Forest Service. We are now a recognized department within the ESD. Through a collaborative effort in the Fire Chief’s Association and Waller County ESD, re-districting has been done to establish a defined area our department serves. Dual page zones were also established allowing for adjacent departments to work together to cover that particular zone. The adjacent map reflects our coverage area as well as the dual page areas.
